2. What are the characteristics of TPU?

3. Which material would you say is best for a smartphone case: ABS, PLA, or TPU? Why?

4. What is the purpose of using PVa filament?

Group Activity: REview Packet

Group Activity: Prep to present

  • We're going to prep for our test by going through a review packet, however, you are going to present the solution to one problem with a small group (3 - 4 people) as part of the preparation process.
  • I will split folks into groups. You will get a review packet. Go through the ENTIRE review packet with your group for roughly 10 minutes. Then I'll assign your group a specific problem to solve and present.
  • Use a laptop and review the original video or assignment to ensure that your answer to that question is thorough and correct. Presentations start in 20 minutes!

TODAY'S ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment

  • Complete the Review Packet for our first unit test.
  • If you understand the review packet front to back, you'll be well prepared for the test.
  • Try to answer the questions on your at first, then grab a Chromebook to review the work that you did in your online documents to fill in the parts you don't know and to check your answers.

Clean Up!

Laptop Expectations:

1. ONLY use the laptop number assigned to you. If you do not see your laptop number, please bring that to the teacher's attention.

2. If anything is wrong with the laptop, please tell the teacher right away so it can be documented.

3. Only retrieve laptops when your table has been called.

4. No music/headphones. No charging your phone.

5. Return your laptop to the correct bay and plug it in so it will be fully charged for the next student.
