Beginning Of The Story

Flora is a natural born cynic. She was sitting in her room when she heard a vacuum. She realized it was Tootie vacuuming the lawn. Then she saw the vacuum about to suck up a squirrel. She ran down the stairs to find out the squirrel was died. Flora freaked out. She decided to give the squirrel cpr/mouth to mouth. To her surprise, the squirrel was alive! also to her surprise the tiny squirrel lifted up the vacuum. The squirrel was a super squirrel. Flora named her Ulysses!

Middle of the Story

After Flora met Tootie, she meet William Spiver, her great-nephew the next day when the both of them came over to check on Ulysses. William was "temporarly blind" At that point Ulysses flew. Everyone was in shock. Then there was a knock on the door. It was Flora's dad, he came to pick up Flora and Ulysses. On the way to the house, the stopped at the donut shop. The chef went crazy when he saw Ulysses and tried to kill him. Ulysses luckly escaped by flying but he crased into a window and fainted. Flora and her dad escaped to his apartment and decided to take Ulysses to the docter next door. Ulysses soon got better because of pb and j. Fora's father dropped of them and thier trip soon ended.

End of the Story

It was late at night when something terrible happenned. Ulysses was sitting down typing poems (which is something he loves to do) when someone in all black snatched him. He realized it was Flora's mom! She brought him to the middle of no where and was getting ready to kill him. Flora woke up and realized Ulysses was gone. She went over to Tootie's house to get some help. The started to go to Dr. Meescham's house (Flora's dad's neighbor) As that was happenning Ulysses made his escape by flying (again) and saw Flora at Dr. Meescham's house. Everyone found each other there (Tootie, William, Flora's dad and mom, Flora, and Ulysses. Then they all decided to accept Ulysses.

Problem and Solution

Problem: Flora has a pet squirrel named Ulysses.

Solution: Everyone realized that Ulysses was something special and they all learned to love him!

Main Idea/ Theme

The Main idea/theme of the story is that you can be what ever you want to be if you never give up and put your mind to it!

Rating, Recommendations, and Opinion!

Rating/Opinion: I give this book a 4.9! i love the book and I couldn't take my hands of it. I love the author and want to read more of her books. The only thing I didn't like is that there's too much infomation compacted in this kinda small book.

Recommendation: I Recommend this book to any one who loves realistic fiction/magical fiction.
