Overall Impact
Although Hitler was not successful, he did end up killing over one third of the world's Jewish population and teaching the world the meaning of evil.
At the end, even though the Jews were liberated, they continued to die. After the war illness of the weak killed up to 68% of the Jewish population.
During this time period every country created propaganda to boost their own image and to put down other countries.
The New York Times painted a horrific picture of the acts by Germany. They did this to prove to their readers why U.S. was in the war.
For Instance...
After the U.S. took over the Reich death camp 150 prisoners were executed in the forest within 24 hours and they were just left where they died.
