beginning

In the beginning, Andy introduces us to the tree house. He used to have a 52 story treehouse but he added another 13 stories. He added a pet-grooming salon which is run by Jill, a time traveling machine, a cloning machine, and more fun things. After Andy realizes that he has no building permit, they get a letter saying that an inspector is coming in one minute. Then, the inspector comes in one minute. He inspects the treehouse and calls the wrecking crew. Terry and Andy went to the wise owls for advice and they said "time travel." As they jumped into the time machine which is a garbage can, the inspector found them and jumped into it also. Inspector Bubblewrap accidently hit the go button and they all traveled 650 million years back in time.

Middle

They tried to travel to present day but they traveled 65 million years in the past. They paddled to shore and saw a bunch of monkey-like things. Then, they see a bignoseasaur. Its nose starts acting weird and explodes but the monkey things drag it into their burrow seconds before it blows up. In return for saving them, the inspector gives the monkey things bubble wrap suits. They travel 65,000 B.C. and teach cavemen how to draw. Then, the group travels to ancient egypt and accidently land on the pharaoh who tries to kill them. The quick thinking inspector hands the pharaoh paper work and they escape.

Ending

Still trying to get back to present time, the group time travels to 65 B.C. and land in the middle of a Roman chariot race in the Coliseum where they win the race. They got two thumbs up the Emperor, which means thay will be spared. They tried to get back but went 65 thousand years into the future. The future was 100% danger proof so they went to the headquarters and blew it up with a self-destruct button. On the way out of headquarters, Terry turned on a switch on that said GIANT CRABS. When they went 650 million years into the future, there was only giant crabs alive. There was one man in the crabs hand. It was H.G. Wells. He and Inspecor Bubblewrap took on the crabs with bubblewrap and beat them. H.G. Wells helped them fix their time machine. It turns out it had a piece of popcorn stuck in the machine. So they fixed it and returned to present day. The inspector still didnt cancel the demolition. The inspector said the only way it could stay is if they built a wheelchair ramp. So they did and they got the permit.

Problem

Terry and Andy do not have a building permit for their treehouse.

Solution

The group time travel back in time to get the permit but fails to get it. The inspector still gave it to them after they built a handicap ramp because he had so much fun.

Rating

I rate the book 9 stars out of 10. My only suggestion is to make the book a little shorter. :)
