Chinese believe they have the perfect civilization - due to better science and medicine. They also redesign/strengthen the Great Wall (how we know it today). They build the "Forbidden City" - emperors palace in Beijing. Zheng He is the commander of a large fleet of over 300+ ships
There are many Zhou advancments but iron was very helpful and effective for the Zhou. For weapons, one important invention was the crossbow. Artisans learned to make iron which is stronger than bronze. Iron was a huge advancment in Zhou economy. Iron was used to make stronger, more effective farm tools. Iron was used for weapons as well.
Shi Huangdi is remembered as a cruel leader. In the late Zhou, the Qin rulers brought in advisors from other kingdoms to help make Qin stronger. Shi Huangdi was especially intreseted in the teachings of the Legalist Han Feizi. Han Feizi disagreed with the teachings of Confucious he thought people must be forced to be good. This could be done by making laws and enforcing them strictly
The First Emperor tried to control Chinese thought. He decided to censor or ban ideas he found dangerous or offensive. Many people were unhappy with their emperor they were not even allowed to praise past rulers or criticize the present one. Something even crazier is that Scholars who disobey Shi Huangdi were buried alive and also Shi Huangdi burned many books but preserved the ones about agriculture and medicine

This human powered cart appeared in China about 100 B.C. The wheel barrow really helped with moving heavy loads. It was so useful for moving heavy things they called it the "wooden ox"
Lacquer is a protective coating made from the sap of a special tree. Han artists brushed it on wood or metal objeccts to create a hard finish. It required a lot of layers of laquer and many hours of work but it really adds quite a bit to objects and made it look really nice.
Early paper was made from rags and bark. Paper wasn't widely used at first. Documents continued to be written on more durable wood and silk. This helped China so much. They used it to keep records, print books, and write ideas. Then soon it spread very quickly.
