Ford Motor Company

Henry Ford with one of the oldest Fords

After years of having trial and error, Ford finally creates Ford Motor Company, on June 16, 1903.

Henry Ford was the creater of Ford Motor Company

Ever since being a young boy, he was always interested in mechanical devices. What sparked his idea for motor run devices was a steam engine he saw going down the road. Little did he know, he would be the inventor of one of the first motor companies.

The First Ford Car

Henry Ford

After a few years of the "gas powered" car, he finally got to test out his first vehicle.

He was born on July 30, 1863 in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford had five siblings.

Ford moved back home and found his wife, Clara Bryant.

When Ford turned sixteen he left his hometown and moved to Detroit, Michigan.

They soon built themselves a house. Ford went back to Detroit to fix an engine and came home with a new idea, instead of building a steam powered motor, build a gas one.

He found a job making items with brass and iron.

While working, he met many people that taught him about steam engines.
