Call to notify the office of major or repeated minor infractions, the student is sent or picked up to the office.
Redirect the student’s behavior and reteach expectation to the whole class.
Student conference with administration. Reflection/re-teach/rehearse behavior expectation.
Do a praise around for students who are demonstrating the correct behavior.
Administration determines and assigns consequences according to policy. File necessary documentation.
Conference with the student, reteach appropriate behavior, ask the student to rehearse the correct behavior, and discuss consequences if behavior is continued.

The student is given time to cool down and refocus in a quieter part of the classroom or the student is antiseptically bounced.
Parent Contact (phone/sheet) and the administrator provides the teacher with feedback.
Follow up weekly with student and teacher on the student’s behavior. Problem behavior must cease consecutively for one month before the meetings with the classroom teacher can cease.
The cycle restarts at the beginning when the student rejoins the class.
If this cycle repeats more than 3 times in a week, a written description of the antecedent, setting, and the student's behavior is recorded. An office referral is created.
