We decided to give you a quick summary of what we are going to present to you in this presentation
Our team!
In the beginning, my team cut out the continents, and they glued them (i was not here).
The model shows the climate zones, (tropical zone 80 degrees, Temperate zone 60 degrees, and the polar zone 0 degrees). It also shows the equator line 0 degrees, and, even the continents are in the correct place that they are shown on the globe!

The tropical zone is usually frost free. In the tropical climate, the temperature usually stays pretty constant throughout the year. The sunlight in the tropical climate zone is intense, though. Also, in tropical climates, there is most often two seasons: a wet season, and a dry season.
Plants
landscape
Epiphytes
Epiphytes are plants that live on the branches of trees way up high in the canopy layer.
While some think that they get their nutrients from the soil, they actually get their nutrients from the air and the water
A bunch of animals have adapted to the wonderfully unique conditions of the tropical rain forest. The one that we are gonna talk about, however, is the sloth. The sloth uses camouflage and moves very slowly to make it difficult for predators to spot. This works the most in the tropical climate because there are a bunch of brown colors such as the trunks of trees. So, that would make it hard for them to be spotted
The basic conditions in the temperate zone are generally sorted as moderate rainfall that spreads across the year, or some of the year, with a big amount of drought, and mild to hot winters, and chilly to cold winters!
landscape
Fern
To survive, ferns do the best in warm, (not too hot), temperatures. They grow the best in temperatures between 73 and 86 degrees farenheit.
The most preffered habitat of the red fox is a pretty mixed landscape. The landscape is made of forests, grasslands, and other types of land.
The climate of the Artic Zone is VERY COLD ! It's cold because the Artic Zones of the world are on the top and bottom and those are the coldest places on earth ! The Artic consists of water that is mostly surrounded by land. So, the Artic can never have temperature below -2 degrees celsius, or 28 degrees farenheit!
Landscape
Belive it or not, about 1700 plant species live in the artic climate zone. The one in particular, that we are gonna be talking about, is lichens!
Lichen can survive in Antartica because they can show photosyntheis while frozen at temp. as low as -20 degrees celsius! They can also absorb water from an atmosphere when covered by snow
Animals Of The Artic
In hibernation, these animals' hearts slow down and their overall body temperature drops to almost freezing. They stay in a vegetable- like state until the temperature gets warmer
Places that are located at high latitudes recive little sunlight than places with low latitudes.Latitude lines are the invisible lines that go from east to weast across the earth. The amount of sunlight a place recives determines the types of plants animals and the types of landforms. When you are at a high north and south latitudes the weather is colder and when you are at low latitudes it is hot because it is near the equator.

Elevation
Tempurture and climate affect the elevation of a landform becuase when colder or warmer weather is happening then different types of elevation happens.Ex:Water and landforms affect climate. High mountains can be cooler than valleys. Oceans cool nearby land in the summer time. Climate also affects different animals and plants also because of elevation.

Large bodies of water like oceans, seas, and large lakes affect the climate of an area. Water heats and cools more slowly than land. For example, high mountains are cooler than valleys. For instance, oceans cool nearby land in the summer. Therefore, in the summer, the coastal regions will stay cooler and in the
winter it is warmer.

In conclusion, we learned about the beautiful animals in tropical rainforest, all the way to the polar bears in the polar zone. But that's not all! We also learned information ranging from the proximity, to the latitude, to the elevation of landforms with climate and temperature. This presentation showed me and my team an overview on the beautiful world we live in!
We hope you enjoyed our presentation! Credits to my awesome team, and Jeremy!
