*In our case since it is not Easter, we do not need the easter cutters,we can just leave the bread*
The recipe that I have chosen would benefit someone who has Marasmus, because the recipe contains ingredients that are rich in protein like the eggs, milk, and cheese. A high intake of protein is important because this disease is caused by the lack of protein and some other nutrients in the food guide. The recipe contains 3 servings of protein, the egg, the milk, and the cheese. In Canada’s Food Guide, the daily intake of protein for children about 60 pounds should intake around 27 grams of protein and 1 serving is typically 28 grams. For a child that has Marasmus they should increase their protein intake to become healthy and have 3 servings a day using my recipe will help those with Marasmus get one step closer to a healthier lifestyle.
