Our Code Talker project is about a few characters from the book. We chose 3 characters from the book to talk about.
Introduction
Ned Begay
Ned Begay was born in 1927 born to Towering House and born for Mud Clan and was a Navajo Code Talker in WW2. He was sent off to boarding school to learn English at a young age. He excelled in school and was accepted into the high school progam. After the high school program, he was sent off to boot camp then to a school for code talkers. Ned Begay lived through the war and died in 2014
Georgia Boy
Georgia Boy was a tall blonde boy who went to boot camp. Georgia Boy met up with Ned in bougainville. Much later in the war, he was shot in the neck on Iwo Jima. He lived and survived the war. Georgia Boy was a great friend, he was kind and loyal. He was also a great allie in battle.
Sam Begay
Sam Begay was a Code Talker in WW2. He fought a longside Ned and was one of his many friends and he is reliable in battle. Sam lived to the end of the war. He died in 2017.

These were only 3 of many characters in "Code Talker." We decided to choose these 3 for our Project. "Code Talker" was a great book that talked about the events in WW2.
