At the beginning of the Revolutionary war, the British had more soldiers to fight for them which allowed them to be able to deploy more troops in a specific area at a time. They also had many more ships, allowing them to create a Blockade that trapped the colonists in their own harbor and stopped them from leaving. Since Britain had such a big population those who were not fighting in the war could make things to help with the war such as guns, clothing, or food. They could also help medically and take care of wounded soldiers. During the war, the British could pay more money for things in the Colonies than the continental army could. Leaving them with more supplies. The British also had antibodies to diseases they had brought over but the colonists did not. The British had warm places to stay in the winter which let them rest well while the colonists were freezing outside.
One of the biggest disadvantages the Colonists had against the British was their numbers but this big factor changed when the French sided with them. Since the French joined the Colonists they gained more boats more men and more resources. This balanced out the numbers giving the colonists a better chance at winning the war. The Colonists used surprise attacks to overcome Britain's numbers and have a fighting chance in the war. And when the Morale of the army was low in the winter at Valley Forge George Washington read Thomas Paine's "Crisis" to convince Washington's Army to keep fighting. Geography also impacted the war because the Colonists knew the land better than the British so they could devise better plans according to the land. The Colonists also had more to lose so they had more heart when fighting.
The Treaty of Paris was the Document that ended the Revolutionary War. It was sent by the British in hopes of coming to peace with the Colonists and respecting their freedom. It also gave the Colonists rights to fishing routes and resolved any debuts with Britain. The War was a horrible loss for Britain though every politician who was involved in the war lost their job. The entire party under the king is taken over by younger people and Britain lost the Jewl Territory and the Colonies. Because of this Britain now lives with the American Syndrome. Also, the Colonists don't respect the loyalist's rights and do horrible things to the loyalists that force them to leave and seek refuge. Since America is a new country they are not on the trade route with Britain this poses a problem because they can't trade for what they need.
