The Georgia colony was a part of the southern third of the original 13 colonies. It was an English colony from 1732-1776 and then became a part of the 13 original colonies as a rebellion against England.

The most important person in the discovery of georgia was James Oglethorpe and his army. They named it after King George II of England since he sent them on this journey of finding the americas and settling in them. William Stephens was the president of the entire colony.

Georgia was the last and southernmost colony to come up from the 13, it had no governor for a little while and had a few things banned from the start. There was no slavery, rum, lawyers, or catholics allowed in georgia.

There was a soldier named Michael who went into the commissary to pick up a few things when he spotted the owners daughter, Catherine. They instantly fell in love but that was cut short due to Michael being hung for treason. Catherine saw this from the upstairs of the commissary and decided to hang herself as well due to a broken heart. She was found in the commissary. Since then, there have been many other businesses in the old commissary and everyone has said they have seen two ghostly figures upstairs dancing in each others arms
