The Senita moth, or Upiga virescens is a small moth that lives in the Sonoran Desert in north amirica.

The Senita cactus, or Lophocereus schottii is a large cactus that can grow to be over 15 feet tall.

How do they work together?

They have a symbiotic relation ship and depend on each other for most things.

the Senita moth depends on the cactus for shelter and a safe place for its offspring. the moth lays its eggs on the cactus flowers then by the time the eggs hach there is a actus fruit insted of a flower, then the moths larva get food. in return the cactus get polinated by the moths.
