I have always loved the Harry Potter books, but my favortie is Harry Potter and The Socrer's Stone.
I thought long and hard on what project a child in a classroom could do based on this wonder filled book!
I've always was envious of the students at Hogwarts who got to take a potions class, so I decided to make my own veriosn of it!
Luckily for this project there isn't many items needed to make our own DIY potions.
You'll need: water, oil, food coloring, and a bottle
For added fun you can use glitter but i didn't use any this time.
Hers comes the fun part! This step is when we start to see our reaction of the oil and water!
I thought a fun way to include this in play would be to create a potion you're wanting. I.E. a love potion, friendship potion, a smarty pants potion, etc. This way its promting postive vibes and engrey in the classroom.
