Have you ever wondered why some things sit differently in water? Some things can sit on the top of water, while other things go to the bottom.

But why?
Why do some things sink, while other things float?
This has to do with something called:
Density is like the stuff inside things. If something has more stuff inside it, it is more dense. If something has less stuff inside it, it is less dense.
If something is more dense, it will sink. Like coins, scissors or rocks.
If it is less dense, it will float. Like wood, sponges or ping-pong balls.
