There are three sacraments of initiation. Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist which all serve important rolls in the faith and to the journey to God
Baptism is the very first sacrament of initiation and is the first interaction with the church. To be catholic a person had to be Baptized by a holy administrator. It is one of if not the most important scariments since it opens the way to the other sacreiments, if you are not baptised you cannot spiritualy take part in any of the other sacreiments.

The symbol of baptism is holy water. The person's head is drizzled with the water signaling the start of the faith journey and their new conection to God.
Confirmation is the christian rite by which admission to the church is confirmened, meaning that it is a way of being consigrated into the church as a full plegded Catholic. Confirmation comes from the story were jesus sent the holy spirit to guid and assist his desiples, and now reprisents a deeper connection to god.
Symbol
The symbol of confirmation is the tounge of fire. It reprisents the holy spirit and the new found connection with God. The whole sacriment is about connecting to the holy spirit and deepening faith with the trinity.
Eucharist also known as The Holy Communion is the christian ritual commenuration of Jesus's last supper with his desiples were he said, "this is my body, and this is my blood" and is when streangth with the holy spirit is inpoved.
Symbols
Eurcharist is the sacerement with the most symbolism since the wine and the breed become a symbol of jesus and sometimes jesus himself. The wine reprisents the blood of jesus after it is blessed
and the breed becomes
the body of christ.
