Many people reoffend becasue they do not see any other way out. They already have a record and with that record it is very hard for them to find a good paying job. So they turn back to bad/old habbits becasue they dont know any other way.
When someone commits criminal acts that resulted in rearrest, reconviction or return to prison with or without a new sentence during a three-year period following the person's release.

Some offenders like the thrill or rush of comminting crimes. They don't want to stop becasue then they would lose that feeling. They don't think a regualr job could grant them the same satisfaction and thrill as comminting a crime does.

In some cases i believe it just takes people reching out and actually wanting to help one another. I think if the rehabilitaion programs were better and more positve and hands on then the recidivism rates would go down.
I think we can make more hands on rehabiliation centers and programs for offenders. We could also try not to judge so harsly when offenders want to get a regular job and not turn then away for the mistakes in their past.
