Introduction: Class discussion about the brainstorming style that worked best for students & what a thesis is
Direct Instruction: Read thesis statement worksheet & analyze examples.
Guided Practice: Students will then attempt writing two thesis statements. They will share and discuss in groups and give feedback to each other.
Partner Practice: Easy, Medium, Challenging Thesis Statement worksheet
Exit Slip: Students will creat their own thesis statement.
