How it was founded

How it was founded

Islam was founded off of the teachings of The Prophet Muhammad as an expression of surrender to the will of Allah. The story is that a man named Muhammad was said to have received divine messages. One morning, Muhammad heard the voice of the angel Gabriel and, through him, Allah spoke words of wisdom that later developed into the Qur’an. Muslims consider those words not Muhammad's, but direct revelations from God.
