Like the Sun is about a character named Sekhar who planned to tell the truth for the whole entire day. Sekhar did not care about any of the black lash or consequences that would be attached to telling the truth for the whole entire day. During this time he had said his wife's cooking was not good, he insulted a dead man, and said he was not a good person. While telling the truth he had managed to also insult his headmaster, which came with consequences. At the end of the story even though the truth came with consequences he still was happy that he told the truth.
