International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on the 8th of March every year. It is a day when people around the world come together to recognise the achievements that women and girls have made. The day is an official holiday in many countries (ex.Russia, China etc); in other countries is not a pubblic holiday but men give the women in their lives (friends, mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, colleagues, etc) flowers and small gifts.
