What Are Dreams?
Dreams are images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur in the mind when we sleep.
The Different Stages Of Sleep
1st Stage
5th Stage
3rd Stage
You start off with a light sleep where you are still very alert and if you hear any sounds it will cause you to wake up.
The next stage is the theta stage this is a short stage that only lasts 10 minutes. This is where the brain produces theta waves.
The next stage of sleep is stage 2. during this stage, the brain produces short rapid bursts of rhythm called sleep spindles. In this stage the body temperature decreases and your heart rate begins to slow down.
The next stage is delta wave/ stage 3 sleep. This is when your body temperature drastically lowers and your heart rate slows and your breathing starts to become very deep and controlled. This is because your body is preparing for a deep and long sleep.
The next stage is delta sleep/ stage 4 sleep, which is when you go into a very deep lasting 30 minutes.
The final stage is REM. This is the time where your brain becomes the most active. This is the part where you are able to have vivid or lucid dreams. Your muscles will be very relaxed and paralyzed.

What Are Lucid Dreams
Lucid dreaming is when you are in a dream and know your in a dream. Lucid dreams can be manipulated. Whilst lucid dreaming you may learn more about yourself then when you are normally dreaming.
Step 1: Spend the rest of the day reading about lucid dreaming. So this is where we'll start
Step 2: Do lots of reality checks
Step 3: Turn of all screens an hour before bed
Step 4: Set an alarm
Step 5: Wake up with your eyes closed
Step 6: Perform a 'WBTB' (wake back to bed)
Step 7: Try and realize patterns in your dreams
Conclusion
In conclusion, it was important and fun to learn about dreams because now we can understand stuff about ourselves. In addition, we can now tell how dreams may be trying to tell us something and how we could maybe control our dreams.
