Building the SpaceX Starship
By: Shayne Bowman
What goes into building the massive rockets in the Space X Starship mission?
Research Question
When talking about building the rockets in the Space X Starship mission, there are different specific structures used in different parts of building the rockets, and the rockets have a lot of components including stainless steel as the body/covering.
Thesis
The Starbase facilities are built with specific purposes
Claims, and evidence 1
Commentary
The information explains the specific structures in which different parts of the Starship rockets are built, the welding process of the different parts, and explaining the load the Starships can transport, and how big the different parts are.
Why is the nose of the rocket pointy?
Fun fact 1
Why the use of tonne instead of ton?
Fun fact 2

Starbase
Starship parts are welded together by a mechanism called the Knuckle Seamer, which is an automated welding mechanism, which wields together inside domes that hold the fuel and oxygen on the Starship.
Welding
The rocket is powered by approximately 33 Raptor engines, which is expected to generate more than 70 Meganewtons (16 million lbs) of maximum thrust, allowing for the capacity to transport at least 100 tonnes.
How it's powered, and load capacity
The building process of the shell of the Starship Rocket is an intricate process, with engineers creating an automated welded machine to assist.
Claims, and evidence 2
Starship is powered by many large powerful engines and has a large maximum cargo capacity.
