Elphaba realizes that the wizard isn't as 'wonderful' as she thought. He is trying to get her to work for him. She and Glinda escape together.

Elphaba and Glinda hide in a broom closet to escape the wizard's guards. Glinda is disappointed in Elphaba for not going on with her plan to achieve her dream. Elphaba and glinda part ways.

Fiyero (Elphaba's true love/ the scarecrow) finds Elphaba and they walk off into the sunset together
