11:30 a.m. Titanic arrives at Ireland

1:30 p.m. Titanic sets sail for New York

12. of April (twelfth)

Titanic gets wireless messages of congratulations, and also warnings that there is ice in the sea. Captain Smith steers farther south.

15. of April (fifteenth)

12:00 midnight Thomas Adrews tell Captain Smith the ship will sink within an hour and a half

12:05 a.m. Captain Smith orders the lifeboats to be uncovered

12:10 a.m. Jack Phillps sends out a call for help. First he uses the signal ‘CQC’. Later he uses the signal ‘SOS’. The Olympic, Frankfurt and Carpathia reply.

12:25 a.m. Carpathia sets off to rescue them, but is 93 km away

12:45 a.m. The first lifeboat is lowered. The first distress flare is fired.

1:00 a.m. The news first reaches the US that Titanic has struck an iceberg.

2:05 a.m. The last lifeboat is lowered.

2:18 a.m. The Titanic breaks into two.

2:20 a.m. Two of the lifeboats wash overboard. The stern sinks. (agterstavn, det forreste af et skib)

6:16 p.m. Captain Haddock of the Olympic confirms that Titanic has sunk.

17. of April (seventeenth)

The Mackay-Bennett, a small steamer, leaves Halifax. It searches the area for nine days and finds 306 bodies. Later steamer find another 22 bodies.

18. of April (eighteenth)

Carpathia reaches New York with 705 survivors.

14. of April (fourteenth)

9:00 a.m. Titanic gets another ice warning. Captain Smith sends it to the officers on the bridge.

11:40 a.m. Dutch liner Noordam reports that there is a lot of ice

1:42 p.m. White Star Liner Baltic warns of iceberg and field ice.

1:45 p.m. German liner Amerika reports two large icebergs. This message does not reach Captain smith.

7:30 p.m. Harold Bride overhears an ice warning and sends it to the bridge. The ice is about 80 km ahead.

9:30 p.m. Second Officer Lightoller instructs the lookouts to ‘keep a sharp lookout for ice’

The steamer Mesaba warns of pack ice and large icebergs. Jack Phillips is busy sending passengers’ messages and does not send the warning to the bridge.

10:55 p.m.Jack Phillips cuts off an ice warning.

11:40 p.m. Lookout Frederick Fleet sees the iceberg. First officer tells the Quartermaster Robert Hichens, who is at the wheel, to turn sharp left. The Titanic hits the iceberg, only 37 seconds after Fleet’s warning.

11:41 p.m. Captain Smith instructs Fourth Officer Boxhall to inspect the ship for damage.

11:50 p.m. Thomas Andrews inspects the ship for damaged areas.

The Titanic is done and ready to sail, and got tested

8:00 p.m: the Titanic leaves

3. of April (third) 1912 (nineteen hundred and twelve)

Right before midnat the Titanic comes back after it had sailed 917 km

4-10 April (fourth to tenth) 1912 (nineteen hundred and twelve)

The last few things got done and all of the staff gets ready

6:00 a.m. The crew goes aboard

6:30 a.m. Thomas Andrews arrives (chef i harland of wolff)
