Tan Dinh Market is the second famous market in district 1 -- the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The market was constructed by the French during French colonization around the late 1890 and early 1900. Notre Dame Cathedral was one of Vietnam's historical buildings that was constructed during the French colonization. The cathedral was built in the 1870 by a French architect and all the materials used was imported from France, including the red brick. Lying next to Notre Dame is a very superb and royal French coffee shop -- Runam d'Or. This coffee place is a very food spot for visitors to observe the Notre Dame Cathedral. Also one of the significant historic building in the city is Saigon Opera House. The building was design and constructed duing French colonization in 1898 by a French architect named Eugene Ferret. The opera house thus followed a typical French ornates style back then; indeed, it is a living European building amidst Asian culture. Known as Ho Chi Minh's busiest street, Nguyen Hue Avenue contains all kinds of high quality restaurants and food places that are all affordable for low budget visitors. Once of the most famous food place on Nguyen Hue Avenue is the 42 Coffee Apartments, a building block containing over 30 food buisineses in each apartment. Visitors can access many different coffee shops and dining places in just one building -- using an elevator. What is most incredible about this building block is that each apartment have an open balcony, allow visitors to have an open view at Nguyen Hue Avenue during day and nights.

Located lightly across the Bitexco Tower is Vincom Center -- the signature shopping mall in the heart of the city. Vincom center was inaugurated in 2010. It is the building that concentrates most of the famous clothes brands all around the world such as Zara and H&M. The building is wrapped in glass, allow natural lights to shed and reduce the use of electricity. At the basement floor, Vincom provide spaces for several coffee shops like Starbucks and Highlands. Meanwhile at the two top floors concentrated the dining restaurants with a diversity in cuisine -- Thai, Korean, Japanese, and Western. However, unlike Bitexco Tower, Vincom Center restaurants have no sku view. After all, the center is the most favorable place for city's people to enjoy during their weekends.

Bitexco is well know to be the signature of Ho Chi Minh City, just right after Ho Chi Minh Landmark Tower. Was built 68 floors above the ground, Bitexco is now named as the second highest skyscrapper of the city. With its bizarre corn-like shape, Bitexco attracts many tourists abroad. Besides being a financial tower, Bitexco also a place that accumulates all luxury restaurants with sky view for those who want to observe the beauty of the city at night. It is known to be the best dining place in New Year hour because from its sky view, visitors can see the fireworks most clearly.

Ben Thanh market is one of the oldest market in Ho Chi Minh City. It was built long before the French colonization in the 17th century, when small traders gathered to exchange their goods. The market is revelantly huge with 4 entrances on each side: north, south, west, east. The goods in the market are not limited to just grocery only. Visitors can find delicious and unique Vietnamese street foods all over the market. They can easily save their spots by sitting down in a small chairs and enjoy hot meals right at the the place. This makes the eating experience become more fun and interesting to some foreiners.

Reunification Palace is one of the most significant buildings and monuments in Ho Chi Minh City. Was built on July 1, 1962, the Reunification Palace was once the "White House" of South Replucbic of Vietnam before the Vietnam War. The most outstanding place in the palact probably the president's dining roomwith over 20 seats and a long table-- usually for the president to dine with his family or his guests. The food that usually served in president's dining hall are usually Western food (a sign to indicate you're rich in ancient Vietnam). Thus, this palace's dining room is known to involve both the president's personal time with his family, and his business time.

A little detail that distinct the street from Nguyen Hue Avenue is that most of the dining places here are bars and clubs. Bui Vien then, known to be the "non-sleep" avenue because it is where people usually get food and party until sunrise. There are also Vietnamese famous street foods along the side of the street such as Rice Paper Salad, Vietnamese Pizza, and various type of fish balls. The nicest view of the street is when-- obviously -- it's night time with all of the luminous lighning covered the avenue.
