1. We were so excited to be able to order all these extra books for the library.
2. I have received, labeled and shelved the books. Most of the order came over the summer with the last few trickling in this month.
3. I had some help with the bookplates, my daughter loved the leftover edges and put them everywhere.
4. I held a preview before shelving the books, the students were able to look through the books before they could be borrowed.
5. We wrote some thank yous. A few of our favorites are displayed here.
6. We were able to order 100 nonfiction books from ten areas of high interest
7. There are new insect, sport, gem, weather and space books.
8. We also have dog/cat, shark, community helper, science and dinosaur books.
9. The books have made a huge difference allowing the students to find texts that are on level and high interest.
10. The books are already in circulation and are the first ones to get borrowed!
