Robert H. Goddard's invention of the rocket has helped us with many things, like modernizing rocketry, and inventing a type of rocket that increases thrust many times over than conventional models.

Early Life

Robbert H. Goddart was born on October 5, 1882 (and died on August 10th 1945) in Worcester, Masuchucetts in America. He went to Worcester Polytechnic Institute when he was 22 years old.

Why He Was Famous

Robert was so famous because he invented the liquid

fuel rocket, and discovered that if you put a special steam

engine cap on the rocket, you could increase the thrust

output from 2% to 63%

His work

Robert H. Goddard was the inventor of the first liquid fueled rocket. His first real rocket flew for about 2.5 seconds but it went about 41 feet high and landed 184 feet away. Then later on from 1930 to 1941 he was able to make rockets that launched ep to about 1.5 miles in the air.
