Hernanado de Soto is a Spanish conquistador who was born in the year of 1500 in Jerez de Los Caballeros, Spain to a poor but noble family.

Things Hernando has done
Things Hernando de Soto has done
Some of the things that Hernando de Soto had done were:
- took Natives hostage and kept them as slaves and if they disobeyed any rule he had them killed
- he forced his religion on the Natives
- spread diseases to them such as: cholera, typhoid, tuberculosis, measeles, scarlet fever yellow fever etc.
- he brought war with him wherever he went
- Most of his fighting was due to the fact that he was spreading chatholic faith
- he failed his mission to bring back gold from the New World
- he poisoned many of the relationships between the Europeans and the Natives by his treatment of them.

Hernando de Soto is a villain beacuse, he was very cruel to the Native Americans who were originally very kind to him. He invaded and took over their lands and drove them out, he stole valuables and money, he tortured the Natives, if they disobeyed any of his laws he killed them, he brought many diseases unto the Natives and he also forced his religion onto them.
