A natural selection is when a animal or organism adapts to its surroundings. Like giraffe grew a long neck over time so it can reach high leaves that other animals cannot reach.
two examples:
When a Giraffe is tall enough to get trees and if it isn't tall enough to get the tree to eat.
a rabbit using it their camouflage to stay from getting ate in their home
Positive Human Impacts
Human activities can change environments in a positive way.
An artificial reef is defined as a man-made, underwater structure, typically built for the purpose of promoting marine life in areas of generally featureless bottom. The use of artificial reefs today has become a popular method in which to save the reef dwelling species throughout the world whose natural habitats are threatened due to human impacts by pollution and the introduction of foreign species to an area not previously inhabited by that species, which causes an adverse effect to the reef, also known as an invasive species.
Another example is that wildlife bridges can reconnect habitats that were separated from each other.
People can help conserve marine ecosystems by eating only fish that are not overharvested. They can also reduce the use of chemicals and properly dispose of oil.
Humans have a negative impact on ecosystems by things like deforestation and hunting to extinction.
Humans have polluted the ocean for many years. National geographic says the ocean is extremely over polluted and there is many things that make it worse like oil spills. They kill of the organisms in it and push them away to a new location where most will be killed and eaten by new creatures. Trash and nets can trap and kill the fish and stuff by them eating poison or bad food. Billions of pounds of trash is in the ocean destroying the ecosystems and cutting off the systems.
Back in the 60's and 70's there was a animal called the Tasmanian Tiger, It was native to Australia and it was have dog half dingo. It resembled a tiger with its stripes on its back but it was destructive so they started putting prices on there head. After years only a couple remained but they weren't able to survive and was declared extinct. Many animals like this are hunted to endangered and by doing this it destroys ecosystems. The tiger was a carnivore and by killing them made the herbivores overpopulate and eat all of the plants and that destroys the Ecosystem.
Animals on land have a hard time to like the ones in the forest. Humans need shelter and in order to that they need wood for houses and that wood comes from the forest. By removing the trees it completely ruins the ecosystem. Since there is to much sun plants grow to much and they die this means the herbivores can't live so they migrate somewhere else. Since there is no herbivores the carnivores have nothing to eat, and it all came from chopping trees down for a house. Millions of trees have been removed from forest and it destroys forest and all of
the animals inside.
