Crave high adventures? Journeys into the clouds? Then vast Andes,magical mountains and volcanoes. This 700 km range stretches though seven countries: Argentina, chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia and Venezuela;we can defiantly call it the back-bone of south America. The Aconcagua is 6961 m ,the highest peak in America and the forth highest in the word with a very lofty summit can be discovered. It towers above them all like a colossal (very big) rock.

In the Andes,people eat a lot of odd things:corn,potatoes,hot cereal,guinea pigs,yak,seeds from the Aquino ,plants and chino.Yak is an animal that lives in the mountains because they would hardly get attacked by other animals. Corn (can grow up to 8-10 months)if you eat them while they are growing you can poison yourself.

Mountains in the Andes are really snowy and freezing cold at about half way up is about 2 degrees and just at the top its probably -28 degrees, at the bottom would be 12 degrees or more.There are over half of them of them still growing today;in fact,larges mountains.

People think because of extreme weather nobody lives in the Andes range. Well, there is lots of animals,plants and humans live there. On the animals topic,there are allot of animals that live there: Pumas , chinchillas , alpacas , Wari (some people call it Wicuna) Vizaches,Andean bear, Andean fox , armadillos and Guinea pigs.Some of them are endangered like the Armadillos,Pumas and Andean Bear.People also live there in camps with teats and campfires.Alpacas live in grassy planes.wari(wicuna) can be spotted when you go to the Andes on ulla ulla reserve on the other hand Andean bear (endangred) live near the tree line .Vizaches have taken three different fetchers from different animal the body of an rabbit ,it leaps like a kangaroo and a tail of a squirrel.The Andean fox hunts Guinea pigs and rats .There are normal animals like skunks,mice,rats and bats.

There are three very different jobs:builder ,miner and a farmer;a builder have to build villages and repair buildings that have been damaged. Miners have to find: iron,gold,silver,tin and copper ; Farmers have to sadly kill animals and grow plants .
