We are thrilled to share a wonderful initiative taken by Tata Coffee Limited in partnership with Semina Agro to promote sustainable practices and well-being for its amazing staff in the coffee state of Pollibetta, Karnataka's Coorg district.
Home Nutrition Kitchen Garden Model: Semina Agro by TATA Coffee Ltd has been invited to share its innovative Home Nutrition Kitchen Garden Model with its dedicated workers. With almost 7000 hectares of plantations in the region and nearly 10 thousand staff members, this initiative aims to enhance the well-being of the workforce.
Nutritional Garden Pilot Project: Tata Coffee has launched a pilot project for a Nutritional Garden for its staff. This garden not only focuses on providing essential nutrition but also introduces the concept of aromatic crops as an inter-crop into their coffee state. Success in this venture will lead to scaling up this sustainable and aromatic initiative.
Aromatic Crop Buyback Program: Semina Agro is committed to buying back the aromatic crops produced, creating a sustainable cycle.

Semina Agro Pvt Ltd., a Ranchi-based social enterprise, is playing a pivotal role in technically supporting the farming initiatives. Additionally, an adjacent area of the plant has been dedicated to a school kitchen garden, reinforcing the commitment to holistic community development.
