Setting
The story took place in the 26 story treehouse owned and built by Terry and Andy. The treehouse is located in the middle of the rain forest.
The beginning
In the beginning of the book , Andy and Terry are telling the story of how they met. That eventually led to how they got captured by Captain Woodhead.
Middle of the book summary
At this point in the story, Captain Woodhead has captured Terry, Andy ,and Jill. Jill is the girl living on the other side of the island who loves animals and can also talk to them. Now, the three have become slaves on Captain Woodhead's boat.
End of the Story
End of the Story
While they are working as slaves, Captain Woodhead decides that they are worthless and tells them to walk the ships plank with the sharks hungrily waiting below. As they hit the water, Jill talks to the sharks and the sharks don't devour them but instead they help them cut through the ropes to the life boat. After a long time floating across the sea, they hit an island with the captain hot on their trail. They safely navigated through all the rocks but the captain wasn't as lucky and crashed. They then used the pieces of his boat to build a 13 story treehouse. They just recently added another thirteen stories to give this book its name.
Problem
After the pirates led by Captain Woodhead crashed the ship, they secretly survived and stole another ship, only to crash it on the same Island where Andy and Terry lived, during a bad storm. As Terry and Andy were searching on the beach for broken pieces, they found the crashed ship and Captain Woodhead with it, who captured them and took over the treehouse.
Solution
While the pirates were destroying all the things in the house, one of the pirates swung off the rope swing and fell 26 stories to his death. Pirates kept dying until only Captain Woodhead was left and he eventually fell off the plank into the shark tank while pursuing Terry and Andy.
Theme of Story
The theme of the story is to add thirteen stories to the treehouse every book. They try to tie in the characters that created the problem last book, like the pirate Captain Woodhead. He was also in the thirteen story treehouse too which is the prequel to this. There is also a sequel to this book where they add another thirteen stories. That is called the 39 Story Treehouse.
Recommendations
This was a very entertaining and science fictiony book. If I was to rate it on a scale of one to ten, it would be about an 8. If you are into fiction and future tech, this is probably a good I PICK book for you.
