Kerri's Career

College is where Kerri first started playing. She started with indoor volleyball and played on team USA, then after their loss for the bronze, turned her attention to beach volleyball. Soon she became very good at beach volleyball, and teamed up with Misty May. Together in the Olympics they won three golds!!! One in 2004, one in 2008, and one in 2012. After Misty and Kerri played April Ross for the bronze, Kerri asked April if she wanted to be Kerri's new partner, and April said yes. Then Misty retired on August 8, 2012 and they went their separate ways. Kerri says she will be back in 2020, but some people still have their doubts.

Summary

Like I said before, Kerri Walsh is the most inspirational person in my life because she is an amazing volleyball player, she keeps on pushing (no matter what), and she is just a great person. She has won three gold medals at the Olympics and one bronze medal. That takes skill. She has had to leave her best friend and best teammate, Misty May, and on top of it all, she has undergone five shoulder surgeries. She also has amazing family and friends.
