Expectations

Evaluations

  • Make sure you are submitting the PDF form of each evaluation.

  • Keep-Up-To-Date with TWS

  • Communication with Supervisor, Cooperating Teacher, and ME is key.

  • Be thinking about what you want to do in the spring (full time teaching job, substitute teacher, etc.) and prepare yourself.

Teacher Work Sample: (TWS)

Evaluations

Document Management System

The Student Process:

  • All four evaluations will be sent to the site supervisor as soon as they post into their LoudCloud Classroom.

  • When the site supervisor has completed the evaluation, the status on the portal will change and the student will be emailed a PDF copy of the evaluation for his/her records.

  • If the student needs assistance, he/she can contact GCU Tech Support or ask the Field Experience Counselor in the portal.

The Site Supervisor Process:

  • The S.S. will receive an email with the evaluation forms as soon as the student posts attendance in the LoudCloud Classroom.

  • The S.S. email will contain instructions on how to complete the evaluations.

  • The S.S. can add to the electronic evaluation form throughout the entire course, all work will be saved from week-to-week.

  • Once S.S. has completed the evaluation, he/she will electronically sign the document and, along with the student, will receive a completed PDF copy of the evaluation.

  • The evaluation form will be available for 4 weeks after the end of the course. If not completed by that time, the form will be cancelled and the S.S. will need to work directly with the college to complete the evaluation.
