Grandpa Cecilio
Grandpa Cecilio was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on December 22, 1921. He grew up as a child in Puerto Rico then moved to New York at the age of 20. He wanted to serve his country during World War 2 but his Polio disability prevented him. He and my grandmother were married for 21 years and made 10 children, my dad being the first child.
Grandma Verna
About:
My grandma was born in Louisiana on January 1st, then moved to California. She had three kids with one husband. She was always very religious and made sure to instill it into her children and grandchildren. Everyone in the neighborhood knew my grandma and she was like a mother to lots of people on her block. Unfortunately, before i could really grow up she passed due to Alzheimer's and a type of cancer that grew horribly in her hip. I think about my grandma a lot and I'm glad she's in a better place.
Mr. Gonzalez
My dad was born on March 15 and raised in East Los Angeles. He is the eldest of 10 kids from my grandpa and grandmother. My dad served in the Army for 21 years as a paratrooper and a National Guard Sergeant. He's always been a huge baseball and MMA fan all throughout his life. In 1991, my dad married my mother and were belessed with 6 children.
My mom was born on August 11th in South Central L.A. She's the youngest of three kids from my grandmother. She's taught from Pre-K through 5th grade, she's a professional drummer, and one of the best motorcycle rider's I've seen. My mom has always been very religious and made sure of it that she as well as all of her kids have a close relationship with God. My mom is definitely one of my best supporters with everything I do and calling her strong would be an understatement to describe how strong my mother is.
About:
My brother Alex was born on a military base with my parents and was raised there for about three years. He's always had a strong love for basketball and actually taught me how to play. He's traveled to almost half of the world since middle school and he was always super smart. My brother is always a good example to me and he always offers to help me anything.
Alexia
Alexia was born on March 11 also on a military base like my brother, then later on moved back into the city. She got her college education at UCLA and she's a double-bruin. She has her Bachelor's Degree in African-American Studies and her Master's Degree in Higher Education. Alexia also makes music and has a great amount of support for her music. I've looked up to my sister as my inspiration for as long as I can remember. There's a lot more things I can go on to say about my sister but to conclude, she's a great big sister and influence to myself.
About:
Alicia was born on November 4th in South Central L.A. as well as the rest of the family. She is currently attending Clark Atlanta for her college education. My sister has always been one of the hardest working people I've ever known and I look up to her because of that. Everyone in our family has always said I'm her twin which you can say I agree with. I would say she's the funniest sibling let alone of the funniest in the whole family.
Alvin was born on April 26th four years after my second oldest sister. He's 18 and now in his senior year of high school. He influenced me a lot when it came to sports and the way he's helped me with that journey in my life. Alvin is always told that he's very respectful and nice and I agree with that.
