Who found NSW

The person who found New South Wales was Captain James Cook in 22 August 1770. The proclaimed Governor Arthur Phillip In February the 7, 1788 until 1792. They first set up camp at Sydney cove but they left because they couldn't grow crops for the people. So they left to Parramatta because it had rich soil, repopulating and better economics.

Convicts had only one pair of cloths and was on rations that would get them through the day. They worked everyday and had many struggles as they built huts and made farms for the Europeans and themselves.

On March the 4th, 1804 Two hundred plus Irish convicts escaped the Europeans and tried to steal one of the ships to go back to Ireland. From this rebellion they hunted the irish down. It was called The castle Hill uprising.
