The Neolithic Time Period

  • Began around 12,000 yrs. ago, the period of human culture.
  • in the Middle East- Mespotamia and other parts of the world.
  • the begining of farming
  • domestication of animals (sheep being the first)
  • development of crafts- pottery and weaving
  • the making of polished stone tools
