Why don't the male bees have stingers to defend themselves from danger?
Male bees don't have stinger is because their stinger and venom glands become fixed in an early body plan then the female bees. Since they don't have stingers to defend themselves what they do is they bite small insects with their sharp teeth, and the teeth paralyses they insect. The small insect might of had a really bad day, but the bee will have a good nights sleep with a full stomach. The male bees might not have a stinger, yet they can swing at the enimie with their tailwhikle also the male buzzes around the enimie to disorient them.
