We see in the video that J.N. is getting all the "normal" physical aging signs. She is getting gray hair, wrinkles, and gaining weight that is harder to lose. She also is starting to struggle with her vision. From the sounds of it, she seems to be suffering from presbyopia. Her body is starting to slow down, but she is still in overall good health.
As we see in the interview, J.N.'s memory is still functioning pretty well. She has had no real problem with remembering things, she mentions having to leave notes as a reminder but that is not something we are just now seeing in middle adulthood. She relies a lot on her crystallized intelligence to help her rather than her fluid intelligence. She also touches on her lack of understanding when it comes to technology. This shows how her brain was slightly unable to make those connections to using technology, since she learned at an older age.
As we see in the interview, J.N. is very satisfied with her career, which makes sense as job satisfaction tends to peak in this period. She has started to have to care for her mother, but she does not find it to be a burden. From talking to her outside the interview, she seems to not have much leisure time where she goes on trips. This could be due to the need to work longer in order to be able to retire. She seems to be hitting the mark according to Erikson, as she is taking "care of the persons, the products, and the ideas one has learned to care for." (Erikson)
