Sirius Black was born on November 3, 1959 from the rigidly thoroughbred family of black, Orion parents and Walburga Black, did not have a particularly agreeable childhood, due to conflicting relationships with his relatives, who supported Lord Voldemort and Superiority of the magical race.
He had a brother named Regulus who was killed by the underworld in the cavern where he was costudied a Horcrux.
Sirius was Harry's godfather and the father figure closest to him.

Even at school, this profound difference of Sirius was perpetuated: all his relatives had been in Slytherin, but he was the only Black man to be sorted from the talking hat in the house of Gryffindor, house suitable for courageous and daring people. Fu proprio tra i suoi compagni di Grifondoro che incontrò le tre persone che influenzarono maggiormente la sua vita futura: James Potter, Peter Minus e Remus Lupin, compagni di Casa e suoi grandi amici, che più tardi si soprannomineranno I Malandrini.
