Tuesday night Myrtle Wilson was found dead in the middle of the road. Witness's say it was a Yellow Car and did not stop driving after she was hit. Its unknown who was driving the car. Mrs. Wilson lived in the car shop with her husband, where she was killed.

One Witness told police that Mrs. Wilson ran into the road, and a light green car coming from New York going about thirty to forty miles an hour. The death car never stopped.
Another witness said that a Yellow car, but did not see the crash but the car had passed him down the road going fifty to sixty miles an hour

Sick of the East and the empty values, Nick moves back to the Midwest. Just before he leaves, he runs into Tom who tells Nick he told Wilson that Gatsby hit his wife. Nick came to the conclusion that Tom and Daisy destroy people and that their money will shield them from the punishment.
