Ancient Olympics are very different from the Olympics today. Athletes wore no clothes to remove the temptation of hiding weapons. Sports were limited to track activities and horse and chariot races. Only free men who spoke the language could participate in activities.

Today Olympics are pretty similar to Ancient Greek Olympics. Today the top three winners get honored by earning a medal. Every four years the Olympics are held in a different country. Although you can only participate if you are over the age limit. Today the Olympics are held for friendly competition, although you are trying to win. In In the Modern day we do wear clothes to compete, unlike Ancient Greece

Their are few similarities between modern day Olympics and the ones held in Ancient Greece. The Olympics are held every four years. Men were and are allowed to participate in the Olympics. Just like the Ancient Greeks we have track activities like running and javelin. Their were and are special ceremonies to start the games rewards for the winners.
