The scary part of this graph is that out of 15 million highschool students about 1/7 of them vape and out of a study of 2000 kids 500 said they have vaped before. Also these numbers of vapers are rising and is setting up a future for teens that won't be a good, due to vape damaging the heart, brain, lungs, and immune system.
Vaping affects our body in many ways, for example it can destroy tissues that keep your teeth in making you lose them, plus vape destroys some needed cells. Also it causes high levels of inflammation which is the bodies response to cellular injury and obesity. And finally it causes high adrenaline levels that can be bad for the heart and this always puts slightly on edge.
1. Causes bleeding in mouth and throat
2. May contain cancer causing chemicals
3. May increase plaque build up in arteries
4. Stops immune system cells from doing their jobs
5. Can alter genes related to mental health
Both male and female mice were affected when exposed to vape. Also they mice exposed to vape was noticeably stressed and or agitated. Finally when looking at the male cells used in mating exposed mice cells were only half as high and unexposed mice cells.
In today's youth there are almost twice as many teens who vape then there are that smoke, this is bad for many different reasons. One reason is that vaping make you more likely to get disease, so this asks the question how are they getting these vape products. First off most of these teens get these products online 112 out of 200 stores don't verify age and sell to minors. Another thing to add on to this once they get these products they use different methods of vaping for example one is called "Dripping" which is more harmful than regular vape, and vaping doesn't just harm it slows the healing process making it even worse than it is already to vape.
