Action and Therapeutic Effects
Acetaminophen changes the way the body senses pain and cooling the body. The blood level of acetaminophen is in the range of 10-20 mcg/mL
It is best to avoid foods high in pectin including jellies, carbohydrates, and many types of cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and others. Doing so can interfere with absorption rate.
It is not safe to use more than 4 grams (4,000 milligrams) of acetaminophen in one day (24 hours), as this may increase the risk for serious liver problems
