Two of India's major rivers are the Ganges and Indus(Ganges is on the bottom and Indus is on the top).

Facts About the Ganges River

The Ganges river begins in the Himalayas. Ganges is also called Ganga. It is located in northern India and flows for around 1,569 miles( 2,525 km) from the Himalayas to the Bay of Bengle. The Ganges river also has the second greatest water discharge in the world. Its basin is the most populated in the world. There is also a dolphin called the Ganges Doliphin or Susu that lives in the Ganges river.

Facts about Susu

The Susu dolphin lives in one of the most densely populated regions of the world. One of the main threats to this species is loss of habitat due in large part of the creations of dams and irrigation projects.

The Four Major Categories

The four major categories in the Caste System are the Sundras, servents and labors, Vaishyas, skilled workers, Kshatriyas, warriors, and the Brahmins, priests.

The Untouchables

The life of the untouchables was hard. They performed the most undesirable tasks. They were also forced to live apart from others. They also couldn't change the positions of their lives(on the Caste System). If they were born as an Untouchable they died as an Untouchable.
