The novel/book "New Kid" is about a kid named Brock, is a seventh grader that plays baseball. Coach is the baseball coach. Bella is gonna be a seventh grader or is and might go to varsity softball and get a scholarship.
One day Brock was pitching at a game coach was giving Brock a hard time first batter, Brock was pitching to and as Brock goes through the motions and gonna let all of his anger against the batter to throw a strike and he steps and he throws. As the balls going towards the plate, it hits the batter. The umpire looks at coach and brushes and shoots him out of the game. As he walks out Brock says I can't control it.
After the game they went back to the hotel and Brock wasn't seen till he had to go eat or had to drink. After a while coach said come on Brock it's time to eat and Brock went to eat. After he was done eating, he was going back to his room the Bella said lets go for a walk it might help you out, Brock said sounds good to me. Then they both go on a walk and talk about baseball and how it's fine that will happen.
Later the next day coach and Brock go out and work on pitching, today was different Brock was throwing amazing pitches unlike last night Brock was doing fine till. He had to pitch to his team. Brock kept trying but was nervous to hit his teammate's then the worst came Brock threw a two seen fast ball and it was a wild pitch and it hit his teammates leg his teammate said its fine Brock and they kept working on pitching and pitching till Brock arm hurt the next game Brock threw only strikes he had two innings of only strike outs.
Story was during the 2000s when there was a kid named Brock having a pitching practice with his Coach. This wasn't no ordinary kid he was one of the best pitchers in his 7th grade he could throw the ball where he wanted it at about 9 out of 10 times. Brock was also a quick pitcher Brock fastest pitch is around 78 for a 7th grader. So every weekend coach would ask Brock if he would want to practice pitching so every weekend on Sunday around 6 to 8 Brock would practice pitching with the coach and the catcher.
As the year kept going games were going to start. Brock last pitching practice is this weekend coach told Brock. Right after practice as Brock was getting picked up coach just got told that games start this weekend. So Coach ran over and told Brock and his parents. Brock said ok coach and he went home with his parents the next day was Saturday and was his first game. So when Brock went home he was tired and fell asleep. The next morning Brock was excited for his first game Brock woke up early got his baseball clothes on and waited for his parents to take him to the baseball feild . little did we know this was Brock's first but last game...
As brock waited his mom finally came down and said Brock you ready Brock said yes "with a smile of joy' they both walk out side Brock puts his stuff in the trunk and gets in the car and Brocks mom start to drive
Soon they arrive and see Coach and the team waiting Brock gets out of the car fast grabs his stuff and start to run towards coach. As he is running over Brock "trips" fly forward and his arm get dislocated the whole team thinks he is ok till brock start to cry Coach calls a ambulance and they are on their way coach is next to brock telling him he will be ok soon after the ambulance arrives they get out and put Brock on a stretcher and take him to the nearest hospital were he gets told that he will be out of baseball for a year and brock say no i cant be. He "yells" i cant and start to cry even more...
