Blood pressure works with multiple things in the body. It works with the blood vessels that we all have, it deals with our arteries as well, our brain stem and heart play a big part of it as well. Blood pumps through all of these components. It is a big part of our living bodies.
When your heart rate increases, more blood is pumped through your system and veins, increasing your blood pressure. This activates more muscles and gets them going. That’s why your heart rate increases when you are scared, your body is preparing you for any activity. Once you realize you are safe, calm, and relaxed, your heart rate decreases, less blood is pumped through your veins, and blood pressure is lowered. That is a negative feedback loop.
Blood Pressure Interacts with the nervous system and the circulatory systems. They both play parts with blood pressure.
