The Usage of Present Perfect

(+) She has worked hard today.

We use Present Perfect to talk about an event that happened in the past and continues in the present.

Present Perfect with "Just"

We use "Just" with the Present Perfect to talk about an action that happened some moments ago: a short period of time ago.

With "Just"

Usamos "Just" con el Present Perfect para referirnos a un evento que ocurrió hace unos momentos; es decir, hace un corto periodo de tiempo.

Present Perfect with "Yet" and "Already"

With "Yet" and "Already"

We use the Present Perfect with "Yet" and "Already" when we want to refer to actions that were accomplished in the past or not.

Usamos el Present Perfect con "Yet" y "Already" cuando hablamos de acciones que fueron o no completadas en el pasado.

  • Already = accomplished actions

  • Yet = unaccomplished actions

  • She has already cooked lasagna before.
  • I have already done my homework.
