THE BROAD SWORD
The Broad Sword
The sword was created in the 16th century but more widely used in the 17th century. What makes this sword special is the handle. It has a basket shaped guard to protect the users hand from being hit. They were up to 30in long and were known has modern swords as well as being the some of the smallest.
The GREAT SWORD
The Great Sword
These were the standard sword of the Elizabethan era. They were the longest measuring up to 72in(6ft).
LONG BOW
Long Bow
This bow was created in England during Elizabethen times. It was typicaly 6ft in length being the logest bow. These were used for hunting animals as well as warfare.
ARBALEST
Arabalest
This was a large weopn used in warfare. It was a developed verson of the Crossbow. It ised a winde up handle to apply tension to the string. This allowed the bow to be able to use steel bows as well as shoot faster and harder.
MACE
Mace
This weapon was used in close range fights, sometimes on horseback. It was made of primary metal and was used by swinging like a sward. There is a cluster of metal on one end which was used for the hitting.
